Project Impact, Investments and Pilots
This page publishes information on all upcoming, ongoing, and completed project procurements.
The most significant positive environmental impacts of The Accelerating Climate Solutions (ACE LIFE) project arise from the ACE LIFE consortium’s greenhouse gas reduction investments and from the related financing, policy, training and communication activities that aim to scale up these solutions.
The project contributes to the objectives of the EU LIFE Programme by promoting investments, and by developing and piloting key emission reduction solutions. The ACE LIFE consortium’s work packages focus on low-emission logistics and machinery, electrification of industrial processes, and the development of value chains for plant-based proteins and paludiculture (wetland cultivation).
The project builds a strong knowledge base, strengthens competencies and disseminates best practices to support the wider implementation of climate actions.

ACE CASEs
Within the Accelerating Climate efforts and Investments (ACE LIFE) project, ACE CASEs are produced to showcase project pilots and the best practices emerging from them.
The purpose of the ACE CASEs is to inspire, challenge preconceptions and encourage different stakeholders to invest in emission-reduction solutions.
The ACE CASEs focus particularly on plant-based protein production, paludiculture, heavy transport, and industrial electrification pilots.
Below is a list of the ACE CASEs that have been translated into English. The full list can be found from the site in Finnish.
